A Message from Vickie Kimber, Owner
I provide a safe, clean and loving non-smoking environment for your child to grow and socialize with other children, both younger and older than them, with meals and snacks provided. I run a semi-structured program, which assures that your child is happy and never pushed beyond his or her limits. I have over 20 years experience with children and am CPR and First Aid Certified, as well as OCCS licensed (my Massachusetts License To Provide Family Child Care Plus Services is license #2087891). Please contact me for an interview to discuss your child's needs and arrange a visit to Three Bears' Daycare.

A Typical Day at Three Bears’ Daycare
Early on is free play. Mid-morning is snack time and also naptime for babies. When everyone is ready, we'll go out for a walk or backyard play. After lunch is rest time. Then snack time before we go out again. We fit in educational flashcards and activities during the day. Any TV promotes sharing and tolerating differences, as well as getting along well with their peers.
Testimonials from Parents
I have known Vickie Kimber for seven years. My oldest son Cody started going to Three Bears’ Daycare when he turned one year old and my youngest son Chad was with her since he was only two months old. Vickie is a very loving and caring person who really enjoys children and treats them all like they were her own. Vickie's home is always clean and sanitary and provides a safe, warm environment for children.
Vickie manages to keep children of all different ages occupied with various activities and play that both helps build their gross motor skills and also teach them sharing and communication skills. She has taught the children to always be respectful of others. Her meal and snack times had a great impact on my children's growth, because along with being healthy, the foods she introduced to them were a variety of different things which have helped them to not be picky years. She keeps the children on a set schedule for meals, naps and playtime, getting them used to a regular routine.
Vickie has always been very accommodating to my family's day care needs. Now that they are in school my boys miss her because she was like another mother to them. She has been a very positive influence on my boys, which made their adjustment to school a very easy transition. I highly recommend Vickie’s Daycare because she truly loves the children she cares for and does it in a clean, safe and loving environment.

My son Josh began attending Three Bears’ Daycare at the age of 1 1/2 and we immediately found Vickie and her family to be part of a warm, loving and supportive environment for Josh. Vickie’s home has always demonstrated the utmost standards of cleanliness and safety.
The meals have provided a variety of foods that have helped Josh develop a healthy tolerance for textures and tastes. Manners and polite respect are encouraged at all times. Children are allowed to explore and free-play with a variety of toys and props to foster their imagination and creative skills. Through Vickie's observant interaction, Josh has demonstrated strides in his gross motor, emotional, and communication skills. As Josh has grown, his needs have changed. Vickie has demonstrated the willingness to accommodate these needs to allow him the freedom to progress at his own pace while maintaining a safe secure environment. In addition, Vickie has frequently sought to accommodate our family’s changing needs due to inclement weather, work schedule changes and illness, and even would care for our older son during emergencies. During his stay at the Kimbers’ Three Bears’ Daycare, Josh has developed into a warm, caring and polite, yet adventurous young boy. Vickie has proven to be a loving, supportive influence in Josh's life will be missed tremendously.
Sincerely,
Maggie Whitney
My daughter was seven months old when we enrolled her in Three Bears’ Daycare. Since the very first week she was enrolled, my child developed all around very quickly physically, with her motor skills and personality development. Even my child's pediatrician noticed significant changes in her increased skill level at nine months old. At her one year doctor visit, her pediatrician was well pleased with her advanced growth and development in all areas.
The close relationship that my child shared with Vickie Kimber in a trusting manner was a terrific bond that I could count on while I was working. Vickie offers a safe environment for learning and playing. My daughter never fussed when I dropped her off. This made the separation easier for both of us to bear. There was a special bond between my daughter and the other children at Three Bears’ Daycare, which taught my child at a very early age to share and play in harmony with others.
Sincerely,
Tesa Jackson
In the fall of 2002, my wife and I chose Three Bears’ Daycare to watch our son, who was 11 months old, when my wife decided to return to work. During our initial interview, we were impressed by the experience and organization of the owner, Vickie Kimber. She met privately with us to discuss our day care needs and explain how her days were typically organized. We felt comfortable trusting the care of our infant to her, so much so that after the birth of our daughter in 2004, we again chose Mrs. Kimber to care for her while my wife was at work.
Vickie Kimber shows genuine affection and caring for the children who are in her home. She is well-organized, and in my opinion, does an exceptional job ensuring that these children receive excellent physical and emotional care. I found her to be especially competent regarding the care of infants and young toddlers. As my children became older, they typically came home happy and excited to tell my wife and I about the events in their day.
I never had any issues with Mrs. Kimber regarding either of my children's treatment. Even discipline, when necessary, was performed in a caring and nurturing manner. I would recommend Three Bears’ Daycare to anyone who is looking for a home-based day care that provides children with care in a family-style, non-commercial atmosphere. Mrs. Kimber typically has a small number of children, so she is able to provide a friendly setting that allows the children to form strong bonds with not only her, but each other. I have always been satisfied with the services provided by Mrs. Kimber, and I know that both of my children have done well in the settings they have moved onto.
