Legion

When the only other film ever directed by Scott Charles Stewart was Jackass, you know you’re in trouble. I am also surprised that good actors like Paul Bettany, Dennis Quaid, and Charles S. Dutton wanted to be in this film. The movie was not completely awful, but it also will not win any awards.
I saw this movie out of curiosity because I wanted to see how a movie can translate a war in Heaven to the Big Screen. Some scenes were fun to watch, but the plot and story were just too thin. I wouldn't put this into the category of Hollywood preaching to us, but it had a message, which still escapes me. There was excessive carnage and cussing. This is definitively not a film for young children or adults with weak stomachs.
The fact that practically every main character got their neck ripped off wasn't very exciting. What's the point of having them there if they're all going to die? The whole point of God sending angels to possess random people to kill the child that would save humanity from the Apocalypse is a bit ridiculous if you ask me. I think He would choose a much simpler and humane way to wipe out humanity than to send angels out to possess weak-willed humans to wipe out their own kind. The trailer made it look okay, but the actual movie was a little disappointing.
My advice on Legion, wait for it to come out on HBO.
I give this movie 2 out of 5 popcorns.
